About Verified Companies in Technology

Why we built another directory and what makes this one different.

Most directory sites in the game development and software outsourcing space rank companies on a mix of paid placements and fabricated reviews. In 2025, researchers showed that humans were only around chance level at telling AI-generated fake product reviews from real ones. The problem keeps getting worse.

We built Verified Companies in Technology to do one thing well: verify and route. Every company profile lists the same factual fields. Founded year. Location. Team size. Engines and stack. Services. Budget range. Client type. A clear description. And one outbound link that matters: the studio's own website.

What we don't do

We do not copy review text. We do not paraphrase client quotes. We do not invent statistics. We do not accept payment to move a company up the list. We do not write hit pieces on competitors.

How we pick companies

For each category we look at four signals: years of operation, scope of services covered against the category, team size relative to typical project scope, and visible portfolio or case study work on the studio's own website. We then write a short editorial fit summary so you can decide who matches your project type.

What we want you to do

Shortlist two or three studios from each category page. Open each studio's official website. Read their case studies. Ask each studio for two references that match your project. Then negotiate. The whole point of this site is to surface real options, not to lock you to a single recommendation.
